Maneesh Sethi, a computer programmer living in New York, realized that he was wasting about 19 hours a week looking on Facebook and other websites. He said he felt embarrassed about this and thus he placed an advert on classifieds Craigslist website in order to hire someone to check him at work.
Kara was the lucky one, and she is paid $8 an hour to slap him every time he attempts to log in to facebook.
Maneesh Sethi said that the technique worked, boosting his productivity from 38 percent to 98 percent.
