Carrier pigeon's skeleton with coded message found in a home in Surrey

David Martin from Surrey, UK, was renovating his home when he discovered a skeleton of a pigeon with a coded message strapped to its leg. 

Historians believe that the bird was almost certainly returning from Nazi-occupied France during the June 1944 D-Day invasion.

The message contains 27 codes, and it was written by a Sergeant W. Stott.
