Turtle escapes from an Anaconda attack

Photos taken by the French  photographer Jean-Michel Labat in Los Llanos, Venezuela, show an Anaconda wrapping itself around a turtle.

The turtle was able to resist due to its strong shell. Eventually, Mr. Labat intervened and helped it to escape.

As he said, ''he found it all fascinating to watch at first but then he realised it was going to end badly for the turtle and he had to step in, as it became clear that it would drown if he didn't do something''.
